AHCHL Interim Management Committee

An Interim Management Committee has been appointed to oversee the project until refurbishment is complete and a tenant is in place. At that point, an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) will be held. All eight members of the current committee will step down and elections will take place for a new Management Committee.

The current committee is made up of the following local founder members:

Hugo Deynem (Chair)

A village resident of over 40 years, Hugo is a Borough Councillor for Cheshire West & Chester and former Parish Councillor. He has run a local business and now works in Health & Safety at RWE Renewables.

Lisa Allman (Secretary)

A pharmacist living in the village for 20 years. Lisa chaired the Community Shop from its start in 2008 and recently stepped down from the Parish Council after seven years.

David Wilson (Treasurer)

Over 30 years in Ashton Hayes. A retired financial manager and accountant (ACMA), David brings financial rigour and is also a keen golfer.

Linda Peppin

Retired, with a background in marketing and IT. Chair of the Gardening Club and a volunteer at the Community Shop. Maintains several local websites.

Kate Harrison

36 years in the village. Former public sector centre manager, Community Shop director and advisor to other community ventures via the Plunkett Foundation.

John Hirst

Former solicitor and business owner. Now retired, he enjoys gardening, running and supporting his grandchildren.

James Lutton

A chartered surveyor with property and pub transaction experience. Lives locally with his wife and young children.

Matthew Clark

Former Royal Navy pilot with operational planning experience. Now launching a business and helping manage the renovation phase.

Next Steps

The current committee will remain in place until a tenant is appointed and the premises are ready to trade. At that stage, the Extraordinary General Meeting will be held and a new Management Committee elected.
